Will Smith Brings The House Down at Gabrielle Union’s Birthday Party (VIDEO)

We all know that a birthday party without a big surprise is a not a real birthday party. And celebrities know that best. And talking about a big surprise at a celebrity’s birthday party…that is what happened to Gabrielle Union at her birthday this past week-end. Gabrielle Union’s friends surprised her with an amazing birthday party held at a discreet location in Miami, FL. (USA). And one of the many surprises displayed that night was when Will Smith (the former Fresh Prince of Bel-air) came out of nowhere and performed a few songs alongside the 1980’s rap superstar Doug E. Fresh, who broke it down on the beatbox. And even if, it has been a while since Will Smith was “chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool,” on his throne in Bel-Air; one thing appeared to be absolutely sure: the man hasn’t lost his touch, at all.

Will Smith who is now a very famous (and rich) movie star surprised the birthday girl with a performance that brought the house down, according to what can be seen on the video and to those who did attend Gabrielle Union’s birthday party in Miami, this past week-end. Instead of performing his popular 1988’s “Parents Just Don’t Understand,” a now matured Smith decided to deliver a more complex rap with substance, including the line “my mind’s the only boundary from what I wanna be.”

But that’s not to say that Smith didn’t also hit up some old classics, including he and DJ Jazzy Jeff’s 1991 hit “Summertime.” He wrapped up the set with a fresh take on the 1990’s theme to his hit television show The Fresh Prince of Bel Air to an enthusiastic crowd.

Gabrielle Union, who turned 40 on Monday, came to the stage and hugged both Doug E.Fresh and Smith for their tribute.
